Adopting a Friend

We are here 7 days a week from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM and open until 6 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for adoptions. We have a wide variety of dogs and cats to choose from, including purebreds. Our adoption process is as follows:

Our Dogs for Adoption

♥All of our dogs must be kept as indoor and companion dogs only. All dogs must be spayed/neutered within one month of adoption or by 6 months of age.

♥All dogs have their DA2CPV combo, Bordetella vaccine, and are wormed. You will receive a collar and an SPCA ID tag with your new dog.

♥Dog adoption fee is as follows

             Adults: 1-5 Years $65

             Seniors: Over 5 Years $50

Young Adults: Over 6 months, Less than 1 Year $100

Puppies: Less than 6 months $150

W.O.W. Adoption: Senior to Senior: $25

We require a $30 deposit on the spaying/neutering of our dogs that haven't been altered before leaving the shelter.

♥If you have another dog currently residing with you, we ask that you bring your dog along just so we can be sure there will be no huge personality clashes. Otherwise, we do not guarantee how our dog will get along with yours and the risk is yours for the taking.

♥We do reserve the right to refuse any adoption if we feel the situation is not in the best interest of the animal in question. Please understand that we only want what is best for our best friends!

Our Cats for Adoption

We have a wide variety of cats ranging in color, size, age, and breed.  We welcome you to come to our shelter and take a look around to find that special cat that will warm your lap.  If you are just looking for an afternoon with love and affection, (and even sometimes funny stunts!) feel free to come up and spend a little time with our furry felines!  Summer is the worst time for stray cats.  Consider adopting an adult cat that has lost their home.  With love and patience, adult cats make the best pets!

♥All of our cats must be kept as indoor and companion cats. All cats must be spayed/neutered within one month of adoption or by 6 months of age.

♥All cats have their FVCRP combo, are tested for feline leukemia, and are wormed. We ask that you bring a carrier with you to transport your new friend home.

♥Cat/kitten adoption fee is $35.  We require a $20 deposit on the spaying/neutering of our cats which is refunded as soon as proof is shown of the completion of the procedure.

♥We do reserve the right to refuse any adoption if we feel the situation is not in the best interest of the animal in question. Please understand that we only want what is best for our best friends!
